Apple production output in Iran estimated to be higher by 3%

Iran is estimated to increase apple production output by the end of the current fiscal year and reach 4.12 million tons which represents an increase of 3% compared to the previous year.

The total apple cultivation lands extend over 251 thousand hectares in the country with around 9% of the lands being highly fertile.

Iran has exported 740 KMT of apples during the last fiscal year.
