Argentina plans to boost its agricultural and dairy exports to North African countries. Argentine Secretary for International Economic Relations held a virtual working meeting between the Argentine embassies in Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt. The purpose of the meeting was to analyze the direct trade possibilities between Argentina and North African countries. The meeting was based on exports offered by the Maghreb countries (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria) and Egypt in the field of agricultural machinery, post-harvest technology, equipment for the dairy industry, efficient water management, among other sectors. The goal is to be able to have a trade mission with national companies that offer these specific products and services.
