Canola oilseed has been in high demand heavily because of the global shortage of this good since late 2020, as European countries did not have a crop as high as previous seasons.
Australia benefited as a supplying country in 2020, as they had a booming October crop when there was a global high demand due to low supply in the global market. Growers are positive and expecting to continue having such high demand. They forecast to have even more supply than 2020 if the weather conditions remain positive these the next four months (until September) before the crop begins in October.
