Beef imports from January to May 2022 in Thailand increased by 12-15% YoY. The major buyers of Thai beef are Australia and New Zealand. Although Thai beef exports increased YoY, the increase in exports will slow down as the major importers, Australia and New Zealand will decrease the imports of beef. The decreased imports are due to the increasing prices of imported beef in Australia and New Zealand.
