Brazilian beef exports fall in October 2020

According to data from the Brazilian Refrigerators Association (ABRAFRIGO), the volume of beef, fresh and processed fell by 4% and revenue generated from exports fell by 8% in comparison to 2019. In total, 189,575 tons of beef was exported and revenue of USD 790 million was generated from the exports. Total exports grew by 9% in volume and 16% in revenue. The main importer of Brazilian meat remains China, followed by Egypt, Chile and Russia.
