Brexit creates better opportunities for extra EU suppliers

As after Brexit the United Kingdom is not obliged anymore to apply any protectionist measures against extra EU suppliers, it is expected that the suppliers from the Southern Hemisphere will get a competitive advantage. In the current season it is expected that the main impact will be observed on the apple prices as a result of more competition coming from, South Africa, Chile or New Zealand.
