Bulgarian fruit and vegetable processor to get additional Covid-19 financial aid

The Bulgarian Agricultural State Fund has announced that they will be giving out financial support worth €1,64 million to canned fruits and vegetable processing companies excluding companies. These companies use the products for the purpose of distillation and fermentation. The financial support will compensate for the loss in logistics and storage costs incurred due to the outbreak of covid19. The peach/nectarine produces will receive €13,85 per ton, plums producers will receive €10,75 per ton, raspberry €71,30 per ton, tomato €15 per ton, pepper €19 per ton and eggplant producers €10 per ton.
