The supply of raw frozen lobster in Canada is very low currently and multiple suppliers have noted that they won't have availability until December 2021. Raw frozen lobster is usually processed to order and, due to high demand and prices currently, it is uneconomical to freeze live lobster until the end of the fall fishing season in Region 35 off the western coast of Nova Scotia.
