Cashew auction held at Lindi Mwambao Union on 9th October ended up with panic after farmers rejected the bidding price offered by the buyers, as it was too low compared to their expectations. The highest bidding price for the 1895.597 MT of 1st grade RCN was USD 0.99/kg and the lowest price was USD 0.87/kg. The auction has been pushed back for a second round.
