China has implemented a ban on the imports of poultry and related products from France on January 5, 2021 due to the outbreak of H5N8 avian influenza. The General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs stated that it is forbidden to send or bring French poultry and related products to China, or it will be either returned or destroyed.
