Chinese Pork Imports In September 2022

In W42, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) released the import data for pork in September. According to the statistics, the import volume of pork approached 150K MT accounting for USD 344M (CNY 2.5B). The import volume increased by 7.14%, and the import value increased by 14.88% MoM. Pork prices increased in the year 2022, reaching an average price of USD 2,2K/MT (CNY 16.5K/MT) in September, representing a 7.85% increase from the average price in August of USD 2.1K/MT (CNY 15.3K/MT).
