Colombian avocado exporters worried about latest European markets performance

The newest reports from European markets have raised some panic in the Colombian avocado industry, stating that due to COVID-19 aggravation and winter season, prices of all sizes and origins are experiencing a drop in the market. The situation is turning critical since "Baby sizes" are being sold on consignment stock for first time in a long period.
Moreover, with the commencement of the Spanish and Moroccan season, higher preference in Europe is expected than other origins. In the midst of all this, Colombian avocados would have better prices in comparison to American origins until week 50 and the upcoming Christmas time.
