Considerable effect that might happen to cod's quality due to Mallotus villosus

There is good a weather and lots of fish landing on the stations in northern Norway. The biggest issue is that colossal solder(Mallotus villosus) shoals are coming into the coast. This will have a quality effect on the cod as it eats much of it, and it ruins the quality during fishing/capture, which again ends with a faster decay. Therefore, the fish is used inside Norway for saltfish and stockfish, no problem when it's dealt with quickly - but the five days of transport into middle Europe will have a considerable effect.
