The 2022 Polish corn harvest will commence later than expected with the main harvest period not expected to start before 10 October. Harvesting has already started in the south of Poland, but the crops are of poor quality and the grain is moist according to the Grain and Fodder Chamber. The primary reason for the late harvest and poor quality is the hot and dry summer Poland experienced in 2022. Trade in cereal grains on the domestic market has slightly revived towards the end of W40, but the market supply of grain is still low.
