Cultivation of rust resistance crops of coffee in Mexico

Over the last 2 years, coffee rust has resulted in over 17% loss of Veracruz total production. The association of coffee producers from the state have sourced rust-resistant seeds from Colombia, and are currently being sowed to replace the lost crops.
