Damage from the Ebro flood is estimated to exceed EUR 5 million

In Navarra and La Rioja region, the damages have been in more than 2,000 parcels, with 2,500 damaged hectares. Most of the damage is concentrated in winter production vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, artichoke, thistle or asparagus, winter cereal and spring cereal, with an economic estimate of between EUR 3 million to EUR 4 million.

In Zaragoza, for the moment, claims have been received in about 2,000 parcels and 1,800 hectares. Most of the damage has occurred in forage crops, mostly alfalfa, although it also extends to almond, cereal and vegetable productions including broccoli, cauliflower and green beans. The initial estimate of damage is close to EUR 2 million.
