Demand for coconut flour is experiencing a significant dip influenced by covid-19 pandemic. Thus, most of the suppliers in the Philippines are looking for more genuine buyers that can import coconut flour. Coconut products have been one of the most exported products from the country, and coconut flour is beginning to be more popular because of the health benefits that it possesses. There was already growth in its demand in the previous years, but as of the moment, there is a slow down due to the current situation. Farmers are urging government to assist with regard to the export of coconut flour, and are still waiting for their response.
