Despite the setback imposed by the pandemic this year, the Brazilian YTD export of instant coffee of 76.8 thousand tonnes is the second best mark in history, slightly below last year's record of 77.6 thousand tonnes, down 1.2%, yet 9.1% ahead of the 70.4 thousand tonnes figure from 2018.

Among the main buyer countries, Indonesia switched positions with Japan, thus becoming the fourth main destination after the US, Russia and Argentina.
