The “La Niña” climatic phenomenon event is causing heavy and continuous rain in the South Pacific Regions of Costa Rica, affecting the external and internal conditions of the pineapple, such as Brix, translucency, and internal breakdown. By the end of W46, many pineapple growers reported that the rains presented on November 17th and 18th impacted their pineapple crops.
