Egyptian poultry producers have been approved to resume poultry exports since the avian flu outbreak in 2006.
Egypt has a poultry production of about 4 million chickens per day, with an annual output of 1.4 billion chickens and 13 billion eggs, and Egyptian producers were banned from exporting their products.
As the Egyptian poultry producers gear up preparations for exports, UAE importers are making preparations for frozen chicken meat, chicken eggs, live quail, and duck meat imports.
