The Egyptian lemon season, which began in late Sep-24, has started with limited production, expected to increase by the end of Oct-24. In W41, European demand for Egyptian lemons is minimal due to intense competition from Turkish lemons. The average price of Egyptian lemons is USD 15.82 per 15-kg carton (EUR 14.5/15-kg carton) Free on Board (FOB). However, as Egyptian Eureka lemon production rises, prices will drop by late Oct-24, potentially enhancing their competitiveness in the European market.
