Egyptian orange debuted on the Brazilian market at the end of 2020. After the conclusion of Q1 of 2021, Egyptian orange already accounted for 1/3 of the imported volume, taking away market share from Spain, which was the sole supplier during the South American off-season. A wholesaler from the state of Sao Paulo has already bought 10 containers this season alone.
