Egyptian pomegranate harvest starts in October

The majority of Egyptian Pomegranate farms expect a delay in the harvest of Wonderful variety. Most farms expect to start harvesting full-color pomegranates by the second week of October, with a few starting a bit earlier-by the beginning of October.

Prices in the 2021/22 season would be higher than 2020/21 due to the weather that affected the quality and the availability of raw pomegranates. Prices would be more stable later once all the farms start harvesting by the second week of October.
