The interim trade agreement between Chile and the European Union (EU) expands the list of products that enter the EU tariff-free, benefiting exports of Pica lemons, blueberries, fresh grapes, wines, and dried fruits. With this agreement, the coverage of tariff reductions increases from 94.7% to 99.6%, positively impacting the market. It also strengthens the designation of origin for Chilean products, diversifies commercial opportunities, and facilitates export processes with simplified regulations and more flexible certifications.
