Suppliers in the Bicol region are banking on their expertise in processing the most difficult nut. The processing is carried out in a factory within the region going by a unique technique, which is the 17-steps sprouting and slow-drying process. The complexity and length of the process to create pili nuts make it one of the most expensive nuts, not to mention its health benefits which are an added value to it. Overall, making it Asia's new supernut. The export market includes the following: Hong Kong, Macau, France, Dubai, USA, and UK.
