In W36, road blockages in Colombia disrupted fresh produce distribution nationwide. On the western side, numerous trucks carrying fresh blackberries were stranded on highways. The blockages were lifted in W37, leading to a surge in supply that exceeded expectations and resulted in a significant decline in prices. In Popayán, the wholesale price of blackberries fell to USD 0.96 per kilogram (kg), marking an 18% week-on-week (WoW) decrease in W37.
