Fresh vegetable exports in Argentina increased by 11% between Jan-Oct

Argentina's fresh vegetable exports (onions, garlic, tomato, among others), certified by the National Service for Agri-food Health and Quality (SENASA), grew by 11% between January and October 2020 compared to the same period in 2019. In terms of volume, during the first 10 months of 2020 352.46K tons were exported whereas, in 2019, only 315.77K tons were sold abroad.

Of the over 352K tons exported, 189K tons corresponded to onions; almost 73K tons to fresh garlic; 51.6K tons to potato; 22K tons to tomato; and 7.3K tons to pumpkins.
