The FOB price for the alfalfa pellet for export in Argentina remained stable this year, ranging between USD 350-370 per ton. Some export destinations have not been reached this season due to the high freight cost making the product not competitive in the global market. As the freight cost decreases, Argentinian alfalfa pellet is starting to regain competitiveness in the international market.
