Government support for Turkish aquaculture to boost exports

The Ministry of Agriculture in Turkey announced a new support program for aquacultural farmers for varieties of fish and seafood products.
As per the new support regulation, trout farmers will be receiving support of $0,10 per kg and for trouts above 1 kg, the support will be in the value of $0,20 per kg.
The government support for common carp is intended to be at $0,06 per kg and for mussels farming to be at $0,013 per kg.
