Grain harvest in Russia ranked second after 2017 record

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, one of the best wheat harvest in terms of volume was obtained this year and amounted to 88.1 MMT in bunker weight against 77.9 MMT a year earlier.
In net weight, the harvest of wheat will be about 84 MMT. The gross harvest of barley was 22.2 MMT, corn for grain - 14.3 MMT, rice - 1.2 MMT, buckwheat - about 1 MMT.
According to the department, the harvest of oilseeds will reach 20.5 MMT, including 13.3 MMT of sunflower, 2.7 MMT of rapeseed, and 4.4 MMT of soybeans.
