Currently, grapes in Tanzania are produced in one region called Dodoma. Available statistics show that the country's demand for grape is 5.10m MT per year while the annual production capacity range between 10,670 MT to 10,810. The government through the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) plans to improve the performance of the crop.
