Guatemala sesame seeds production is expected to decrease this season

Guatemalan Sesame Seeds crop 2021-2022 will be reduced by approximately 10% compared to 2020-2021 crop. The expectation is 10,000-12,000 Metric Tons. One reason is Excess rainfall during the flowering season. Another is good price for corn, since the alternative for sesame seeds is corn crop.
