Turkey has exported 81,4 KMT of hazelnuts during the period of Sept 1st - Nov 30th generating $557,6 million in revenue.
These export figures represent a decline of 41,7% in volumes and a decline of 38,2% in value compared to the same period last year.
The November hazelnut exports mark the lowest levels in 17 years in terms of volumes, barely reaching 22,9 KMT.
A decline in demand from Italy, around 30% compared to last year, is considered to be one of the main reasons for lower export volumes.
