Heavy rain cause farmers to harvest early than expected

May and June have seen more than normal rain in central Taiwan. Rice farmers are concerned about the damage that can bring to the crops thus harvesting early than expected. The government has urged the farmers to wait until the crop is fully grown to have the best harvest.
