After a 6 year hiatus, Kraft Heinz will produce ketchup in Canada again. The global corporation sold its manufacturing plant in Leamington, Ontario in 2014 and began producing in the US using American tomatoes, but after a joint investment with the Quebec government, will begin producing ketchup at a new Montreal factory. Kraft Heinz will continue to use American tomatoes for the first two years at the Montreal facility due to existing agreements.
