With the temperatures reaching 35 degrees in Turkey, more and more consumers are eating watermelons on a daily basis. As a result, the watermelon consumption has gone up despite the increase in the price level to 0.30 USD per kg. Turkey has produced 3,970 KMT of watermelons in 2019 with nearly 800 KMT of it being grown in the Turkish city of Adana.
