The price of Thai jackfruit has increased continuously in Vietnam

Currently, in Vietnam, Thai jackfruit Type I weighing from 8 kg or more is priced at 2.8 - 2.93 USD / kg, Type II, under 8 kg is priced from 2.16 - 2.37 USD / kg. The average price increased by more than 1.08 USD / kg compared to the end of August, and the price is 3 times higher than that of about 3 months ago. The main reason for the price increase is low harvest output from Thailand this season coupled with increasing demand for this fruit mainly from China.
