This year milk production will barely exceed 1M liters, which implies a drop of 4.52% compared to 2019 and the confirmation of a constant decrease in the last decade.
The sectoral projections show that this year the level of production will reach approximately 1,187,000 liters of milk and 357K tons of yoghurt.
This milk production is also the lowest in the last ten years, with a 33% loss in relation to 2010, as a result of the crisis that is dragging the sector, which is also in the midst of wage negotiations and union claims.
In the case of yoghurt, it will imply a 2% year-on-year decrease and a 27% collapse compared to 2010.
