Indonesia saw increased demand for imported soybeans during a moment of Syawalan (abundant festive 7 days after Eid Fitr). The demand comes especially from tofu and tempeh producers in Java island, from normal demand of 15-20 MT/day to 30 MT/day. The current price of imported soybean is IDR 10,750/Kg. It is predicted that the price will start to drop since the festive season already pass.
