Increasing international demand for Australian lemons

Citrus is one of the most relevant groups of fruits in Australian exports, especially oranges and mandarins.

However, lately, there has been an increase in international demand for Australian lemons. Luckily, there was a visionary plan of growers to increase the orchards to satisfy such demand in advance, and Australia has now enough lemons to supply the domestic demand while having considerable quantities to export.

Even though the export figures are still relatively small for Australian lemon, the exports seem to be increasing each year.
