Indian pomegranate preferred in EU and the Mediterranean

Indian pomegranate, especially 'Bhagwa' variety produced in Mahasrashtra is highly preferred in EU region states, due to its color, high shelf life and taste.
Turkish pomegranate is larger in size than Indian but due to taste, bright color and quality, the latter is preferred in EU and Mediterranean regions
