Indonesia salt production is projected low this year

Local salt production in Indonesia is predicted to decline this year due to the weather. Indonesia begins to enter the dry season in April, but now the rain intensity is still high, especially in Java. Local salt production is still done traditionally, from seawater by drying under the sun. Local salt is mainly for consumption purposes, while imported salt is intended for industrial use.
