The Indonesian producers are competing with the export market to get enough supply of mature coconuts from the local plantations. The increasing demand in the Indonesian coconut export market is driving the increase in the local coconut price. The fruit is the main material for the production of the products, such as coconut milk, cream, oil and flour. Producers are expecting the government to interfere to limit the export.
