Iran doubles pistachio exports amid better production output expectations

Iran has exported 110 KMT of pistachios in the period between March 20 - November 20 which represents an increase of 131% compared to the same period last year. The export value generated in the mentioned period marks an increase of 82% and reaches $676 million.
The country is expecting a higher pistachio output by the end of the current fiscal year. Last year's production output was at 175 KMT while this year the estimation is to reach up to 230 KMT.
