Iran has increased agricultural exports by over 24% in first 6 months

Iran has increased the agricultural and food product exports during the first six months (March 20 - Sept 20) of the current year by 24.4% in volume and generated $2.57 billion in export revenue. The main export items were pistachio, tomatoes, tomato paste, apples, potatoes, and peaches. Pistachio exports were at 47 KMT generating $304 million in revenue while, tomato paste exports were at 104 KMT generating $88 million. The main export destinations were Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan, and China.
