Kenya’s Mango Export Volume Remains Stagnant Due to Tough Competition From Egypt Mango

The self-imposed ban on Kenyan mango exports to Europe is still in effect, with the key main export countries being Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. The peak mango season for Kenya is between October 15 and January 15. The FOB price in W42 stands at USD 4.00/4kg box, but the Kenyan export volume has not picked up because of stiff competition from Egypt, especially since the Egyptian export season will only end in November .
