The South African citrus season is coming to an end, but there are still large volumes of citrus in cold storage due to shipping constraints. The Citrus Growers Association further indicates that it is almost impossible to get a container for Asia and the Middle East shipments. This has put producers back by 2 weeks to a month, and at risk of being unable to ship fruit before the export season ends.
