The beef will be cultivated and bio-processed with equipment for avian and mammalian cell culture in a large-scale facility in the US. The use of bioreactors will form the foundation for the large-scale cultivation of meat which will have the capacity to produce up to 30 million lb of meat when fully operational. The large-scale of US facility will initially produce chicken and beef, in Alameda, California, and is scheduled to be operational in Q4 2022 and slated to open in Q1 2023.
