Cabbage price decreased by 20% in the Russian wholesale market

Farmers in the central region of Russia complain that they are forced to cut prices for their products because cabbage from the Dagestan region is actively promoted to the market.

Farms in Dagestan are now in a hurry to sell quickly perishable cabbage, so they are often ready to sell it 2 times cheaper than producers in the country's central region. Today, Russian farms in the central part of the country ship cabbage at 8-15 RUB/kg (0.11-0.20 USD/kg), while cabbage from Dagestan can be bought in bulk at 3-5 RUB/kg (0.04-0.07 USD/kg).
