The potato stock is low and price is high in Lebanon

The head of the farmers union in Lebanon stated that the locally grown potatoes would not be available starting from the first week of February due to the high demand in the local market and importers' low capabilities to import potatoes from Egypt and other destinations. The prices of potatoes have been already increased, being around USD 0.8 per kg.
